Riding the train at the Chandler Mall. No I will not sit down and put my seat belt on. Are you kidding me?

So I make my Mommy hold me and look out the window at all the kids who didn't get to ride the train.

Who said you can't ride on a dump truck?

Well summer is upon us here in Arizona. uck! We are hitting those 115 degrees days and 95 degrees nights. Its terrible. Is it September yet?
So much has happened since the last time I blogged. And I apoloize for not blogging sooner. Our computer took a turn for the worse and we ended up taking it to geek squad at best buy. They diagnosed it with a virus and we need a new operating system put in and the computer wiped clean. So I'm at Brent and Christina's house blogging. So what's going on with the Hamiltons?

Memorial Day weekend Liz was diagnosed with Valley Fever. #1-because she hates Arizona and #2-it actually is a real fungal infection that people get when they live in the a)Phoenix valley and b)San Joaquin Valley of California. THree weeks later, Crash was diagnosed with Valley Fever. So Crash and Liz are on their antifungal medicines for the next couple months as we get over our Valley Fever. Its terrible :(

Kim's mom went to Korea for a couple of weeks and came back with traditional ceremonial outfits for Gavin and Liz. Check out the pics to see us getting in touch with Korean roots.

Gavin is getting so big. He's getting words like "doggy" and "more" and "nana" for banana. He's growing up so fast is seems like. His favorite food this week is strawberries and he's starting to get the idea of "running". Well see the next story to see how the running is going.

Last weekend Gavin got his first black eye. He got into this bar fight at school, and all I can say is....you should see what the other guy looks like. Ok, just kidding, he was actually attempting to run and his feet weren't moving as fast as his mind wanted them to. He got tangled up in his feet, feel, and on the way down his face hit the corner of the table at school. So black eye it is.

Anyways, we're surviving our 2nd hotter than the pits of hell summer here in Phoenix. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as the temperatures only heat up. have a great 4th of July everyone!

Playground Fun

Watching the world go by!
The tube is the best. I like to crawl through and play peek a boo!

I'm on top of the world (or the slide).

But the swing is by far the best!

So one of our favorite things to do on a Saturday and Sunday morning, is head out to the playground in the nearby neighborhoods. We (Gavin and Mommy) walk Crash to the playground and make a whole morning out of playing and swinging. Granted we are outta the house at 7am and we are back by 9am because after 9am you're gonna hit those 3-digit temps! (Yes, Another disasterous summer in 'ole Arizona outback has begun).
This morning, just like most Sat and Sun mornings, we headed out to the playground. Me and the boys. And we're walking, and we're get to the playground, Gavin squeals with joy as I pull him out of the stroller and he runs towards the playground structure. This time however, he stops and plops himself in the sand instead of starting to go up the stairs. He starts grasping sand in his fists and looking at it, playing with it. I'm thinking to myself, "odd, but ok, we're experimenting with touch of sand." He starts laughing and getting more bold as he starts throwing the sand he picks up in each fist. Then as if in slow motion, a fist goes up, full of sand...he stares at it a moment, and looks at me. Then as if his eyes were the window to the thoughts in his brain, I lunge toward him......but I do not make it there in time as that fist full of sand........goes straight into his mouth.

All the Food and decorations of the Luau Party, was perfect! We had Ono's Hawaiian BBQ catering the BBQ Chix and Kalau pork. Kim's mom made the Kalbi and Mike made our rice and veggies. It was the perfect Hawaiian Luau because we had SO-O much food left over.

So much to catch up on

Plumer's crack while digging for toys in the toy box!

We finally got to get into the snow and be snowbunnies! We went for the weekend to Sunrise Mountain and spent the nights in Show Low. We had such a great time. We were long over due for some skiing and snowboarding time after being all knocked up all last season. It was great, we can't wait for next season!

I'm the cutest baby ever and I'm super hip because I roll with my hat on backwards.

Chillin' with my mama while watching an Angels baseball game. Look at how big Gavin is getting!

So the first time Gavin ever needed a band aid.......let me explain. This wiggle worm, we went grocery shopping.....used a shpping cart. Gavin sat in the shopping cart, and had a seat belt on, but this guy got his knee under the seat belt stood up and turned around to face the inside of the big basket on the shopping cart. And then launched himself over, lauching his face into the corner of a box of diapers. He had a cut from the bottom of his nose all the way up to between his eyes. It all happened so fast, yet it all happened in slow motion to me. Hopefully it heals without a big scar, even though chicks dig scars.

Angels spring training camp! We watched the Angels take on the Cubbies! It was so much fun. If you live in Arizona I highly recommend Spring Training. Gavin was such a great baby, he slept for 5 innings and then woke up in the happiest mood. Probably because we were at the Angel game. Auntie C and Uncle Taco went with us and bought Gavin the Toddler Angel hat and small shirt. It was so great.

I love Angels baseball yes I do, I love Angels how about you, I love Angels when they hit homeruns, I love Angels its so much funs!

Buildin' snowmen and making snow angels. We had the mommy angel, the daddy angel, the Crash angel, and the baby angel. Gavin was so unsure about the snow, he couldn't crawl or walk in it and that made him sad. This boy has to go! go! go! and when he can't go, it makes him sad.

Oh my gosh! SO much has happened in the month of March! I can't believe I haven't blogged about any of it until this late. First and foremost, gavin had to use a band aid for the first time. Oops! I swear, this kid is getting scratched, bumped, and bruised more and more has he is learning to walk. He is constantly exploring and very curious as he gets into everything!
Second, we went to watch the Angels with Uncle Taco and Auntie C. We had such a great time as gavin went to his 2nd Angels game in his life. He saw some of his Angels up close and personal. We are hoping to get Gavin to another game or two this season, but they would have to be in CA because the Angels aren't schedule to come back to AZ this season.
Third, we just got back on Sunday night for our Winter vacation to the snow. Sure it was only a Saturday and a Sunday, 2 day vacation, but it was so necessary and we had such a blast. We went with some friends from Liz's work. We actually went with Gavin's teacher at school which was very helpful when it came to watching Gavin so we could hit the slopes.
In all of March and how busy we have been.....we are in the process of planning Gavin's 1st birthday party. Keep an eye out for invites! We have baby first Luau coming at you in April, keep checking back as we get our crap together and get this 1st birthday party underway.
We love you friends and family, and if you watch American Idol, you all have best be voting for Andrew Garcia....I mean come on, like you couldn't vote for a guy named Andy Garcia! Ok, have a great work week friends and family, hope to see you soon.

the Fallen Jump-A-Roo

Well after 5 months of great usage, the Jump-A-Roo has finally broken. The straps holding the back part of the seat to the plastic jumper part, have snapped. The threads have been shredded. We can't complain, as Auntie Amy in Hawaii got us the Jumper for free....but it sucks not having that anymore. He loved that thing and it made our lives so much easier to vacuum and go to the bathroom, because we knew Gavin was contained. What are we gonna do now? Luckily, it broke while Grandma Tutu was watching Gavin. So Gavin got extra hugs and kisses when he fell through it. I think he may have exceeded the weight limit.......
