So for those who live in (and out) of the state of Arizona.......today, January 17, 2010 has been declared a day of prayer in the state of Arizona. A letter signed by the governor was sent out to all Arizona residence saying that;
".....in these hard economic times, there is only so much we as humans can do. Its come time to ask for forgiveness and to pray. Please recognize this day as a day to ask for forgiveness and ask for help to pull us out of these terrible economic times....."
Its absoluetly true! We as people have turned our back on God. Taking God out of the pledge of alligence, not recognizing the wonderful things God does in our lives, its no wonder God is putting all of the nation through these tough times. It is time to say "sorry" its time to say "in order to turn our lives around, in order to bring change......we need something bigger than just us. We need supernatural intervention".
So I invite you today to say a prayer (even if you don't live in Arizona) to just pray for our nation during these tough times and recognize the only way out of this is through God.
Also, Kim was baptized earlier this month! It was so exciting as Liz was able to dip him in the water and Kim accepted God as his personal Lord and Savior!
Have a great great great week everyone! We love and miss you all.

Happy 2010!!
Gavin's christmas time with Auntie Daydee
Gavin's Christmas with Kim's parentsGavin's Christmas picture with Santa.
So here we are another year is upon us. My new year's resolution is to be a better blogger. I'm off to a great start. It only took me 9 days into the new year to get on the computer. Hey its hard with a kid ok? Things that use to be so easy to do are now damn near impossible. Like blogging, scrapbooking, you know all the things that I use to enjoy.
Our holidays were tons of fun and busy busy busy. We only had a few days off before Liz had to be back to work so we drove to California for Friday, Sat, and Sun of the Christmas weekend. Gavin did so much better in the car this time than he did in september. Speaking of that little monkey, Gavin is a speed demon crawler now. Turn your back and that guy is gone! And I swear we got 100 toys for him to play with now, and he only wants to play with whatever I have at the time. His new favorite thing is the dishwasher. He likes to standup and roll the shelf things out and back. Just the other night, he actually grabbed onto the top shelf and tried to pull himself up. Now you know why I call him monkey. He finally got all his teeth in, so breastfeeding is DONE! I'm a strict pumper outter now.
Kim got a new job. Finally! He's so excited to be back at work. Its part time which works out better for us in the long run, so Gavin can stay home with him a little bit and doesn't have to go to Kindercare full time just yet. He got a job as a bank teller at Bank of America! He's so happy going to work in nice slacks and a tie. I wish you guys all could have seen his face when we went shopping for nice dress shirts. Liz is still working at KinderCare with those damn 2-year olds. The plus side of the job is that I have so much confidence in potty training now.
ANyways, hope you guys enjoy the pics and keep in touch with us.

Oh my gosh this kid is everywhere!
He's into everything. I can't even go to the bathroom without wondering where the hell this kid went. He really enjoys standing up now too. He can grab on to something and pull himself up, including standing up in his crib. We had to lower his mattress all the way down to the bottom setting so that he won't fall out. Its crazy. I'll put some pictures this weekend, as well as his pictures with Santa Claus!
So our Christmas plans are finalized as followed:
~Thursday night 12/24 Dinner with Kim's parents
~Friday morning drive out to Palm Springs, and Friday have dinner with grandma, dad, birdie and Max. Spend the night Friday night in Palm Springs.
~Saturday morning drive to Norco, CA, and Saturday night have dinner with mom.
~Sunday morning Christmas brunch, and drive back to Phoenix Sunday night.
So hopefully we can meet up with most of our friends and families during these holiday season. Let us know if you wanna meet up so we can work something in. For all those who we won't be able to see we Hamiltons want to wish you the warmest Happiest Holiday season. Best of luck in 2010 and be safe during these holiday travel times. Thank you for all the love and support everyone has given us this past year with Kim gettin gout of the military and the arrival of Gavin. Thank you!

Onward into December!
With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas upon us, we're saying to ourselves "SHHHHHHIIIIITTTTT" its all ready almost 2010? And we find ourselves scrambling in a panic. Kim's got finals here in the next 2 weeks, Liz has been busy busy at work, oh and did I mention that Gavin popped out 4 top teeth?
We had an excellent Thanksgiving feast. Jason and the kids, Kelsey, and Mom and Mike all came out for a delicious burned turkey. Despite the terrible turkey Kim and I produced, we heard the pumpkin pie wasn't so bad. It was a nice long weekend too. Much needed and deserved.
So onward into December we go. Kelsey's birthday is coming up (1st) and then Tyler's (2nd) and then it will be Christmas (3rd). Does anyone know if the Kirks are planning anything?
Other then that, please email you address if you're on the "naughty or nice" list aka the list on the email of people's addresses that I need. And check out the pictures! See everyone soon! Happy Thanksgiving!

Where have the Hamiltons gone?
After a rough, rough, rough, 3 weeks, we have resurfaced and we're back in the groove again. We moved out of the house with Brent due to budget cuts in the Hamilton funding. We moved in with Kim's parents, which went for about 3 weeks. We found an afforable little 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that is 1.5 miles away from Liz's work and we are all moved in and finally settled. Just in time for Gavin's first Halloween. Check out the pictures. For Gavin's first Halloween he was Master Yoda, Kim was Luke Skywalker, Liz was Princess Leia, and Crash was Chewbacca. We had a great Halloween!

We took Gavin trick-or-treating to 2 houses. (I don't give a crap if he can't eat solid food yet, we went trick or treating!) then we went to a co-workers house for a little Halloween shin-dig.
Last week Gavin also had his 6-month appointment. He is 19 pounds 4 ounces and 28.5 inches long. We are officially in 9-12 month clothes! The weather here in Phoenix went from 115 in August to 100 in September to 65 in October! We went from tanktops to sweatshirts in 30 days. THis place is ridiculous. Poor Gavin's little (or chubby) cheeks are red and dry as this weather turns into a bitter cold. Crash on the other hand couldn't be happier with the cold weather. We wake up every morning to Crash with a smile on his face, wagging his tail, holding his leash in his mouth. Now if only we could teach him to cook us breakfast.
Keep in touch with us friends and family. As the holidays season continues, I'm going to be asking for addresses of friends and families I don't have, so be on the look out for that! And eventually I'll have some kind of plans for the holidays for us Hamiltons. Right now it looks like Thanksgiving we're going to stay here in Phoenix, but we'll be making a whirlwind trip of California for Christmas. More on that later. Keep in touch!
